Whether you own a business, have a podcast or maintain an online persona, every brand needs a visual identity and this workshop is a great place to start.
In this interactive session, you will learn how a “brand” is different than a logo, the 3 categories of logo design, tips for designing a logo for different applications (digital and print), and how to get the creative process started. We will work through exercises to kick your creative brain in high gear!
This session’s presenter, Diana Varma, is an Instructor within the School of Graphic Communications Management at Ryerson University where she teaches layout and typography, printing, and entrepreneurship. Diana’s research focus is design and print production within the craft beer industry and she was recently a presenter at the Ontario Craft Brewers Conference. Diana also writes a monthly column in Canada’s leading printing trade publication, Graphic Arts Magazine, where she has over 70 published articles.
